WiFi & home/office networks

WiFi troubleshooting, without the guesswork

Slow internet, dropped calls, dead zones, a router that won't cooperate — we diagnose home and office WiFi across Dallas–Fort Worth, on-site or remotely, and tell you what the fix will cost before we start.

Common WiFi problems we help with

Most network trouble falls into a few familiar patterns. If any of these sound like your home or office, we can help.

  • Internet that's slow in some rooms but fine in others — often a placement or signal issue
  • Connections that drop every few minutes or at certain times of day
  • Dead zones where nothing loads at all
  • A router or modem that keeps restarting, or won't restart at all
  • New router or internet service that was never set up properly
  • Devices that won't connect: laptops, phones, TVs, printers, cameras, and smart home gear
  • Guest WiFi or network passwords that need to be set up or changed
  • Concern about who's using your network and whether it's secure

How we figure out what's wrong

We work through the problem in order — from the things you can check in seconds to the deeper network settings most people never touch.

  1. 1We start with a few questions: what's slow, where, when, and on which devices.
  2. 2We check the basics — modem and router lights, wiring, and whether the issue follows a single device or the whole network.
  3. 3We test the connection at different points in your home or office to map signal strength and interference.
  4. 4We adjust what needs adjusting: placement, channels, settings, firmware, or hardware that's past its useful life.
  5. 5We explain what we found in plain language and give you a quote before any paid work begins.

On-site or remote — whichever fits

Not every network problem needs a house call, and some can't be fixed any other way. We'll recommend what makes sense for your situation.

Remote support

For software-side issues — settings, firmware, device configuration — we can often work with you remotely from anywhere in the DFW area.

On-site visits

When the fix involves hardware, cabling, or placement you can't reach over a connection, a technician comes to your home or business in Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, or the surrounding metroplex.

Questions we hear a lot

Do you need to come to my home, or can you fix it remotely?
It depends on the problem. Many settings and configuration issues can be handled remotely — you just need to be near your router. If the fix needs hands on hardware, we'll visit on-site. We'll recommend the option that fits your issue and your schedule.
Will a new router fix my slow internet?
Sometimes — but often the real cause is placement, interference, an older plan, or a device problem. We diagnose first and only recommend hardware when it's actually the issue, so you don't spend money on the wrong fix.
Do you cover my part of the metroplex?
We serve homes and small businesses across Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, and the wider Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. If you're nearby, we can help — request a quote and we'll confirm.
My office WiFi is fine, but it's slow at busy times. Can you help?
Yes. Business networks have different demands than home networks. We can look at how many devices are connected, how the network is set up, and whether the equipment is sized for how you actually use it.
