New gear, set up right

Device & printer setup that actually works

That new computer, printer, TV, or smart device came with a box of cables and an instruction manual — but no one to make it work with everything else you own. We set up devices across Dallas–Fort Worth, on-site or remotely, and leave you with gear that just works.

What we set up

If it connects to your home or office network, we've set up something like it. Common jobs include:

At home

  • New computers, out of the box and ready to use
  • Printers — connected over WiFi or USB, with working scanning
  • Smart TVs and streaming devices (Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, and similar)
  • Smart speakers, cameras, doorbells, and other smart home gear
  • Phones and tablets synced, signed in, and backed up

At the office

  • Workstations and laptops joined to your office network
  • Shared printers and scanners that everyone can actually reach
  • Meeting-room screens and conferencing equipment
  • New employee setups — accounts, email, and tools working on day one
  • Old-to-new computer migrations, files and all

Printer troubleshooting we see all the time

Printers have a reputation for a reason — but the fix is usually simpler than it looks.

  • Printer shows 'offline' even though it's on and connected
  • Prints from one computer but not another
  • Won't connect to the WiFi network at all
  • Paper jams, ghost prints, or smudged output
  • Scanner that won't scan or can't find the computer
  • New ink or toner installed but the printer still complains
  • Phone or tablet can't find the printer for wireless printing

Why have someone else do it?

Setup is the part of owning technology that nobody enjoys — and small mistakes compound. Getting it right the first time saves you the weekend.

  • Devices set up with the settings that matter for how you actually use them
  • Everything connected to the same network, sharing files and printers properly
  • Data moved over from your old device — not left stranded on a cable
  • Accounts, email, and apps signed in and working, with passwords stored safely
  • A walkthrough of what's been done, in plain language, before we leave or disconnect

Questions we hear a lot

Can you set up a printer remotely, or do you need to be here?
Many printer problems — drivers, connection settings, default printer confusion — can be fixed remotely. If the printer needs to be physically connected or repositioned, we'll come on-site. We'll recommend the option that works for your setup.
I just bought a new computer. Can you move everything over from my old one?
Yes. We can transfer files, photos, and settings from your old computer to the new one, and get your email and key programs signed in and working.
Do you set up smart home devices like cameras and doorbells?
Yes — smart speakers, cameras, doorbells, thermostats, and similar devices are common setup jobs. We connect them to your WiFi, get the app working, and show you how to use them.
How do I know it'll work before I pay?
We give you a quote before we start. If we run into something that changes the scope, we stop and check with you first — you approve any additional work before it happens.
